Bailey's Bio
Bailey is one of the first artists that prior to signing with BEG record’s was able to attain distribution success on a large scale without any record label’s affiliation. She has built a fan base and achieved distribution success on her own with media distribution giants such as Wal-Mart, Sam Goody, Barnes & Noble & Hastings. Her newest album “Don’t Look Down” produced by BEG is scheduled for release to stores this January and February. It has already moved 5,000 units before she even left the studio. This new album is packed full of her personal song writing efforts from this past year, but the new single that we think has the strength to be a mega hit in 2006 is “Boys-n-Boots” and radio DJ’s are adding it weekly to their rotation lists across the country. Current states playing this new single include Arkansas, Arizona, Wyoming, Michigan, Iowa, Georgia, Virginia, New York, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Louisiana, Tennessee, Colorado, Kentucky and Indiana. Bailey worked diligently during the making of this album with multiple musical arrangement talents to get the new sound that she was looking for. One of the great talents that worked with her on this new single was Marc Muller the lead musician and band director for Shania Twain. Marc while off tour with Shania Twain decided to join forces with BEG & WUSHU productions in order to assist Bailey in recording this new hit single. Marc heard this single when Alex Houton decided to email him Bailey’s scratch demo of the song in July 2005. We basically, wanted to get some feed back from him on what he thought of it. We received a call within a couple of days and Marc made it very clear to us over the phone that he wanted to work on this new single with Bailey and BEG, he loved it. We of course are now promoting this single in our press kit with radio stations, because we believe your listeners will enjoy it as much as Marc. We will even go so far to say that we think they will call in to hear it again, and again in the coming months if it gets the proper air play at your station.
Once you listen to this single, we think you will agree that she has achieved a milestone in style creation for any recording artist and has a single that could go all the way with support from stations just like yours. Bailey was born in Ardmore Oklahoma and raised in Texas most of her life. Early on, she spent most of her life in the Texas & Oklahoma’s music scene. The last two years she has been in Dallas, Nashville, Los Angeles, and New York hitting the local hot spots as she builds her fan base in the country music industry. She is a bit of a maverick like many of the new artist’s found in today’s country music and that is what we like about her the most here at BEG. She has created her own sound as well as her own writing style that sets her apart from most recording artists. This fresh new sound in country music is grabbing the attention of all those that hear it. We have enclosed her new single with this press kit in hopes that you will share it with your listeners.
Bailey, will be conducting her radio tour this February thru May, and your station has received this press kit in an effort to not only promote her single, but also to see if she can stop by and say hi to you and your listeners. During her stop at your station she and your BEG Representative will be dropping off some promotional items from BEG and Pink's Western Wear. Bailey and Pink's have joined forces to distribute co-branded Bailey wear limited edition cowboy boots for your station. See the promotional poster found within this press kit so you can better understand the cowboy boot give away incentive plan that we hope to provide to you and your station.
